Don't worry about the errors Zec.....going on what I've seen of your stuff, I'm sure it will be close enough.
If you wait to get it perfect you'll never finish.

David

Ha! Perfect :P

If I could get it to fit in with the Cardiff models I would be happy. Doesn't look too good in green, blue, purple, black, grey, red, pink, etc :P

... and rendering with Yafray.
Holy craft!
You made amazing rendering and really great shots.

Please tell me more about Yafray.
Is it free?
How to handle it?
Are there some tutorials how to use it?
Many thanks for Your answer.

Best Regards

There's a heap of stuff here
Be sure and read the complete walk through section.
I use YaGMax instead of Yafray-Export-vs11.ms

David

YafRay is an awesome free Ray-Tracer with one of the most realistic Global Illumination rendering processes I've ever seen! It's an extension of Blender too, but I don't use it, too slow. :p

Cheerio,
John

The last line is the most important.
But: I have downloaded the Yafray by yafray.org and installed it, but there is no program file to execute it. I am more then a bit confused.

I'm pretty sure that the program that you install the exporter/linker to YafRay will execute the program, I don't think you can execute it alone.

Been playing with elight. I've nicknamed it "The Donkey" as some models came with engines known as Donkies, I don't know who they are, anyone else know? Nor do I know much about the John Fowler 0-4-0 Diesel Mechanical locomotives.

Drag your xml file onto yafray.exe.

I have a shortcut set up on my desktop and export the xml to the desktop then drag the xml onto the shortcut.

Thanks Tom..... here's a couple of the green ones :D
