The piston rods are connected to the counter weight's, those area conected to the gear box in the middle which in return drive the drive shaft. Very good work. Looks just like the Linville River Climax for the ET&WNC RR.

Zapperjet - that Climax is exactly what I was asking for in another post titled Climax Engines for Steam Hud - or something like that - as posted a couple of days ago.

Let's see - it only took you a weekend to build that Shay you announced awhile ago, so I suppose we will have this in a couple weeks!!!

Just fun'n -- but, I will be looking forward to running this whenever it is available in whatever gauge.

I'm not a gmaxer, but I do have a small test bed that I check engines and other rolling stock out on before I use it. Be happy to help with beta testing if you need it.
