GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

:udrool::udrool::udrool::udrool: Those make cause me lot jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But 1 thing that what is between is different with GMAX and 3DSMAX?

Gmax is free, 3DSMax costs money. A lot of money...

Other than that, it depends on the version of 3DSMax. For 3DSMax 4 and 5 (Both these export to TRS) it's mainly some of the texturing tools and the renderer that it has over 3DSMax. However, there are other smaller tools that I find GMax doesn't have that are rather useful. If you can afford it, 3DSMax offers some more tools, but GMax is still a very powerful program.

GP_38-2, you really need to disable that orthographic view before you generate renders. for less than a second's work, the improvements are enormous.

Yeah I know, they look much better in Perspective, I just don't use it for work, renders usually just come off the windows set (in this case "User")

Ok fixed :P

No fancy render from me this time, but since I have only very limited access to 3ds, a screenie will do for now.

It's a lineup of everything I've made in GMAX that could ever possible sit on two rails.

My take on Primus, from Paul Hobbs's loco tutorial. My thanks go to him. Those tutorials really started me off.
