Getting a stopping train to pull right into the station

I have a goods train on a layout with very little in the way of nameable track locations and no trackmarks at all. I have used a station as a Drive To destination but the darn train stops as soon as it is near the station and won't pull right in. I've added the Load/Unload command but it is not a passenger interactive train so it disregards this instruction and happily carries on with its next instruction. I have tried a whole heap of tricks and none will overcome this problem. Is there anything I might have missed trying?

I am aware that trackmarks would solve this issue but it is not my layout and I don't wish to tinker with the layout itself.

The other thing is is it possible to use junctions as Drive To or Drive Via?

I've encountered the same problem and I did use Drive To or Drive Via Trackmarks and it still wouldn't unload. I don't have the answer.

It doesn’t sound as though your missing anything and it’s not possible to use the junctions as track-marks best advice as you like the layout is to add interactive stations. Industries and track-marks to improve the route for your enjoyment
