Get ready for the... DLS not working posts

In the announcements Forum yesterday, this was posted by Spiffy:

Spiffy says:

"We will be upgrading the Primary Webserver, database server and DLS server over the next couple of days. During this time all Auran services will go down for periods to avoid data being updated during the move"

If we're lucky...


More likely some of the more...vocal chicken-littles around here will put the servers being down together with the posts about not receiving the game that have been posted the last couple of days and decry the company as bankrupt, etc etc etc.

Of course, Auran could go with a sensible web server move policy and put up a 'We are updating the servers...' redirect page.

Either way, we'll not be hearing all the panicky posts here

You're being far to optomistic, it'll be like a witch hunt, the gloom and doom people will be out in force. It seems not many people these days search before posting, hence the many similar posts.

At least you could look on the bright side of life and think that they will be gathering new learning skills, whilst using Google, searching for "Trainz" and "Auran" LOL
