General Information

Although I have made a number of posts asking about information of real railroads, but I want my movie to be as accurate as possible. I'm working on 2 movies. One is about a 4-8-2 on the Wabash railroad. The other is based on the entire life of the civil war locomotive, the "General" (Profile picture).

In the Wabash movie, I'm still working on the main content. I can't find a locomotive that looks close enough to a Wabash 4-8-2. So far, I have tried reskinning the Frisco 1522 and it's actually starting to look like a Wabash 4-8-2. However, I don't know what the whistle is. Does anyone know? Are there any Wabash whistles (or whistles that sound like wabash whistles) up for download?

As for the movie on the General, I just want to make sure if I have the timeline correct.

Built 1855- Hijacked in Civil war (Andrew's raid)-Hijacked second time (drove into box car and blown up)- stored in shop- saved from scrap- put on display- restored- put back on display.

Does anyone know the exact years (Obviously the parts in the war take place between 1861-1865)?
