Thank you for your comments.

I'm not sure what to turn it into - I just sort of carry on and see what happens!:hehe:

Anyway here are some pics of the pond and stream.

What I was aiming for was a sort of muddy woodland ditch, I think it worked quit well. I've never tried anything like that before.

You nkow why I said Florida? Because when I see these shots, the first thing that comes to mind is the Everglades. Lots of muddy woodland there!:D

Very good point. So I've got someone living on the edge of (in?) the Everglades with a garden railway! Getting a good backstory here!:D

Buildings

You could add a few houses, business such as gas stations, a few stations and a single railroad crosssing with static cars on the road and utility poles running along the road.

By invitation of spoonless here are some from a route i built over the last 2 days which was inspired by this thread:

Merry christmas

Great screens Meyshollop!:udrool: I love the shrubs that give it a sort of small valley look.:Y: Can I ask where I can get the track in the second pic?

I haven't made any progress because Trainz isn't loading at all! I shall post more screens when I get it working.

Thanks spoonless!
The track is BK 2ft track by belken (kuid2:173173:20862:127) I was using this although it was the wrong gauge for these locos and carriges, and now i have re-gauges and extended it and it now has 5 stations, too many flowers/shrubs/trees to remember, an allotment and a lake with reeds around it, it took me 3 days ( friday - sunday ) and it all fits ( with a lot of luck! :) ) onto 1 board. :D

Merry christmas

Wow! Well done - 5 stations on one board - and a lake! Very quick too. It takes me ages what with coursework and chores.

If you are reguaging to 30 inch guage then I would recomend this site:
http://30ng.webs.com/rails.htm
They have great 2d and 3d track in two colours.
