Gardener's Nightmare

Mind you, it did take me 4 hours today, about 7 yesterday ( saturday ) and a couple of hours on friday, but i have done more or less notheing this weekend though.. so it seems about right, watch this space for screenies of the stations aswell as the locos.

Many thanks

Meyshollop

:udrool:Superb route Meyshollop!:Y: You have an eye for detail!

I sometimes have that freezing problem, but it seems that Trainz have been clever - what I do is after I take a load of screenshots, I go to C:\Program Files\Auran\TRS2006 (or your install directory), and there should be a folder called ScreenShots, and in there should be all the screenshots you've ever taken! I say 'should' as my ScreenShots folder didn't appear for a while after I had installed Trainz.
Give it a go, and once again, truly great screenies!

Once again, thanks spoonless! this is actually both my first narrow gauge route and the first that i have ever put this much detail into, i have even gone as far as putting flowers in the pots :) but if it hadn't been for this thread, none of this would have ever happened, so take some credit yourself, and thanks for the tip, i will have a look for myself.

many thanks

WOW

:mop:I saw this a few days back and forgot to post.
GREAT! Simply awesome:Y:
Love the idea of that, this actually inspired me to try and build a NG, overgrown route, something I have not done before (because I'm into UK Mainline and Branchline steam, early 50's, late 40's type stuff ) and it didn't turn out as well as I'd liked it to, to go with it I downloaded the Rudyard Lake Steam Railway locos and wagons off UKBL (on the last page of the 'layouts' page, if you're interested, they're 10 1/4 inch gauge, in other words, tiny!)

Good job again
Mitch
P.S. Will you put it up for download?, not that I'm forcing you to, that's your decision, I would DEFINITELY download it!
And I might make a new route 'overgrown', this time standard gauge, so I dont get bored:hehe:

Thanks to ImageShack for Free Image Hosting

I probably will probably be resleasing it and I would to recomend Meyshollop to release your's too. Also, Meyshollop, what is it you need to put an image onto?

Merry Christmas!

i need to add a thumbnail but for the life of me can't work out hw, tried CCP, that didn't work :(

Merry christmas

I think what you do is:

Take a nice screenshot of your route,

Open CMP and find your route (by searching the name etc.),

Right click on it and select edit in explorer,

It should open windows exlorer, but if not then open my computer and navigate to your trainz folder, and open the editing folder,

You should see a folder with your route's name on it,

Open this folder and find the file named config.txt

Open it and add the line:
thumbnail
anywhere (you should just need 'thumbnail', nothing else),

Save and close the config file,

Go to the ScreenShots folder I talked about,

Open the last image in the list (Your newest screenshot),

Change the width to 240 and the height to 180, then save it in editing\your route with the name $screenshot$.jpg,

Finaly, go back into CMP and select file>import content and navigate to your trainz folder\editing\your route and click ok, then commit.

I know this is realy confusing but it's the only way I know of.

Well, EVERYONES ROUTES HERE I SUPPOSE!:udrool:
They're all WAY better than mine.
You all have taken your time, I usually take more care making industrial places like a factory complex with trucks and goods everywhere, then for the trees I use splines!:hehe:
Wait a second, I could make an old factory, all overgrown and stuff, with rusted trucks and cars in it, that will be fun!
