Full Skirted Barrier Crossings

Nope they are 'plug and play' as it were. The problem with them kicking in late is well known but sadly just a part of them, they kick in too early at low speeds, or at least they would if they were set up to kick in right at 100mph. As for the skirted ones, hmmm not sure at all, they always work for me. Are you using 04 or 06?

Andy

I wish that you could choose when they kick in with triggers then you wont have to set the speed to round about 40.;)

following this thread

Just wanted to say, hello Andi and feel free to have a play with my crossings that you scripted to see if you can work any thing out on the computerized distance to crossing set as I would call it over here. Three car lengths is a little short.

Crossings

I have a problem with the above mentioned crossings in that when i attach track to them the game will just crash. Attaching a road spline to them is fine, only when track is attached does it crash. any ideas?

I used to have that problem when I tried to attach a small german turntable called (I think) "Wagenwende". Are you using TRS2006 or 2004?

Are you talking about my crossings? As Lewisner said we need to know if its 04 or 06, because according to Andi the script used with mine will not work in o4.

i'm using trs 2004 i've not tried it in 2006 yet. if i remember rightly on an original trs 2004 install that turntable u mentioned Lewisner didnt work for me. What did u use to rectify the problem?

lol, sounds like a sound advice this was my last throw of the dice to be frank, or either that or start using 2006 again
thanks

I was playing with the gates that come with the west somerset railway addon. these have a Tredle that you can place where ever you like down/ up the line. One Tredle activates the gate and the light/ siren the other tredle de-activates the gate.

Unfortunatly they are single line and part of a payware addon.

I dont suppose anyone could figure out how they did it and make there own. That would be cool.
