Hello JR team. Has anyone thought of reskinning lilb's daylight into the freedom train? It would be very nice to see that beauty in those colors!:udrool::mop:

It'd be nice to see that, but lilb doesn't allow re-skins of his stuff.

There is a freedom train in TRS2004 which could be updated if you know what you are doing. Thus a reskin would not be required.

Actually, I found them listed under Trainz Service Pack 3 and not TRS2004.
Just though might like to know.

Yeh, sorry my mistake. It was originally TSP3 but I had updated it to TRS2004, that's what put me wrong.

I have that but it is too outdated. The shadow mesh is totally wrong and there are floating wheels above it

Its impossible to reskin lilbs anyway. Atleast for me it is. Why not ask lilb himself?

So that's why there is a transparent layer over the plans when I open them in GIMP.

"Availble as one CDP, includes 4 different paint schemes. If any dependency is not included it is available on the DLS."

Is it not one of those 4?

No. It included three GS-4's in three different paint scheme: 2 different Daylight paint schemes and WWII 'War Baby' paint scheme. However, there are four paint schemes for the tender: Daylight paint scheme Pre-War, Daylight paint scheme Post-War, WWII War Baby with large lettering, and WWII War Baby with small lettering.

That is not a locomotive driver "wheel" up in the sky. It is an alien flying saucer disguised as a wheel so as to not draw attention. Look! There it is!

I now have the freedom loco and tender appearing in build 61388.



There is still a bit to do to it, engine spec, smoke, whistle and safety valve steam but it's getting there.

Hardy har har. I saw your other forum about the GS-4. Shouldn't you be hunting for wabbits? Otherwise, yes it really needs to be updated. It runs like a diesel because it was one of the first steamers made for trainz.

Ok, I asked him, and he said that he was wanting to do that for some time, but the model needs to be updated. Once it is done, he will do it.
