Free DEM Creators

Are there any free Dem creators? Do they work on MAC? And if I find one, how do I put the DEM file in TRS?

Not sure if you are looking for somebody to make a DEM route for you or if you are looking for a utility to make a route for yourself. In the latter case, there is no reason why a HOG (Hand of God) route shouldn't be useable in a Mac.

The best tute for freeware DEM creation is still Wewain's, located here. It's an old tute and refers to old versions of most of the software used. Most of it can still be nutted out intuitively, what can't can be fixed with a request on the forums.

It contains links to all the programs and data you need to create routes. Whether those programs will run on a Mac is something you are about to find out
