For those experiencing issues with downloading using TDH/CM after the server transfer

Hi,

Unfortunately I had the same thoughts as you....... I just shut down the pc overnight restarted this morning and did exactly the same as what it did last night :( I have changed nothing on my machine, From the problems with the DLS and now this....... I'm getting really annoyed, COME ON AURAN where is your "support"

Don't deleate your game, all you have to do is just shut down your computer overnight and the next day try again, (It happens to me every now and then, freezes, i just exit out and shut down my computer, and then the next day it works). Try it and see what happens, I'll bet it will work.
 
On Tuesday a problem that I and others where having was fixed but I am now wondering if it was totally fixed. I am using 2010 and the original problem was that I could not see any new content on the DLS from March 7. I could see some of it as "location = unknown" though. That was fixed and everything else worked fine and I could see content up to April 5, my FCT shows correctly and downloading was not a problem.

Now after a few days though, I am still not seeing any "newer" DLS content then I was the other day. At the moment I am stuck on April 5, I have removed my username and password to no effect and I have run an extended database repair to no effect.

Could it be that with the new servers they are still not updating something ?

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

I'm very sorry to hear that Koolboy, I hope soon you will get this figured out, Best Wishes to you my friend, but don't give up. It just takes a while to figure things out, you can't always expect new things to work properly the first time, but for me i wish they still had the old servers for this program.
 
thanks for your thoughts champ, will keep you in the loop :) If it ain't broke don't fix it should be a policy that Auran should stick by lol

Well I guess upgade was inevitable...and I am now impressed with the new server speeds. So far today I have downloaded 1.67Gb of assets, which I am going to "back up" on a 1Tb External Hard Drive, as CDP's. There sure are alot of great old assets on 06 DLS...WoW !

I will be able to enjoy TRS2006 for years to come, and I am also looking forward to, a Lifetime FCT, and TS10 very soon.

I would ask that you send a ticket to the helpdesk in this case. As it appears to not be an issue with the downloader, but rather with CMP (or possibly video drivers, etc).

Please keep in mind that we are based in Australia, and as such it may be up to 24 hours for a response, since the helpdesk is generally only operated during Australian business hours. At this time it may be longer, as we are working through a very large backlog on the Helpdesk still.

I will come back to this thread later today and check the other issues listed, and see if we can find a fix for them.

as per your request a ticket has been sent to Helpdesk. The stability of Trainz and the DLS seriously needs to be reviewed. I have never seen an application have sooooooo many errors and crashes on a PC i've updated my os to xp service pack 3 and am running the latest drivers...... still Trainz finds a way to crash. This is a dissapointment being that Auran is an Australian compnay

Server appears to be full

I have been getting the dreaded "server appears to be full" message for about the past 2 weeks and CM refuses to update past March 6, 2010. I've tried everything that has been discussed in these posts but can't seem to shake it loose. I have done several database repairs and reinstalls but the problem is still there. Can someone please help?
 
Hallo Zec!

There are still problems with updating the DLS:
CM3 (TS2010) indicates last update Apr 05, 2010th
CMP (TRS2007/06 German version) last updated Mar 06, 2010th
Rebuilding the database for both versions was made.

In Webbrowser updating today Apr 08, 2010.
 
FCT problems

I just activated my 31 day FCT i logged in to Planet Auran
re checked my details and Planet Auran account says my FCT is active.

So I jumped into CMP for TRS2009 and now i get the Server is full pls try again later.

COME ON AURAN GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER PLEASE........... DLS problems full re installs and database rebuilds and now this.

Is anyone else having problems or is it just me

Well CMv3.2 is working very well for me now, properly updated and with nice speeds, a pleasure to use, but my 06 CMP will not update past Mar 7,2010, although it will download from what is shown. This is with XP Pro, 32 bit. I have tried reentering my passwords and rebuilding assets.tdx, but no luck.

Tried again today, Saturday April 10, but again no luck.

Although I'm happy that my Trainz 2004 and 2006 are now downloading somewhat properly again... I can see (in the 2006 CMP) that there are now too many items showing as "unknown location" (?), when they really are on the Download Station.

For instance, a large number of 1942: items showed the dreaded black question marks for the Yorkshire Plains route I am trying to fill in.

1942: 25111, 26021, 26028, 27020, 28040, 28053, 28062, 28136, 37005, 37011, and 40020 all show as unknown.. Yet I looked them up by hand and they are on the DLS.

There are also many other items flagged as "unknown" that show up when I look for them manually. This is just not real nice! Robert P,
 
Possibly need an extended 1st class ticket

Hey Zec, I think you should try getting my 1st class ticket I had before reactivated for a shorter amount of time just to see if my content manager will start downloading. At one time, it did start to download but for only a second then that orange box appered again saying unable to download because I don't have a first class ticket. I really need help and want to start
downloading as soon as possible. :'(

G,Day Trainzman101, They said that they would credit people who had a current ticket during the time of the problems with some extra time, but that remains to be seen. Would be inclined to not hold my breath waiting.:hehe::o

Hi all, I like many others am having trouble with the DLS server.

I have TS2009 upgraded with all service packs and a FCT to boot.

It is clearly connecting to the internet being able to recognise my account and all, but when i try to actually download I get the "server is full" message.

Is there any news regarding this problem?

If it helps narrow down particular servers I am in southern england
 
I've got no problems with downloading from the DLS via CMP in 2009 (fully updated) but it's not updated the entries since Friday March 26th 2010 .

CMP also crashed last Saturday (3rd April) and the rebuild took the best part of 8 hours !! Usually only takes about 40 minutes ?!!!
 
I have downloaded 17.2Gb of assets into my Local folder. I have virtually all the freight cars and loco's that I can ever use. :cool: Now to back up all my local folder assets on an External Hard Drive just in case the game ever crash's. My total size of my Auran TC/TRS2006 program is showing 37.2Gb.

I dont seem to have the same problem as everyone else. The problem I am having is when I click on download from the content page i get a message that basically says Internet Explorer does not know what to do with the file. Please select a list from the Internet but obviously content manager doesnt show up.

For starters, what version of TRAINZ are you using and do you have OpenGL ticked in your options menu.
