For those experiencing issues with downloading using TDH/CM after the server transfer

G'Day Zec, My FCT is showing up OK and has been now for over 24hrs, when I put items in to download CMP searches and finds the dependencies BUT it will not download them, it just sits at 0.00Bps. Prior to this I was getting good download speeds (average 150KBps) so why wont it download now??
Nothing has been changed at this end other than what you have suggested so what is the problem??

DSL Messed up again???

Hi Zec, Now I'm not getting a connetion to your servers. Everything was working o.k. after the data repair, downloading was working great. When I started up today to get some more assets, and all that I get now is a freeze up. My FCT shows up (TRS 2006, Version 2.6, Build 3335) with correct number of days and the "serching" part works, it's when I click "start" to start the dounload, It stays at 0.00bps. My Connection indecator turns on, then turns off that tells me that I'm not connecting to your server. Now I can"t download content in (TRS2004 Version 2.4 Build 2370) either. Please Fix it, for I've done everything that i could do on my end here.

Another problem now, is when I go to a third party download site, (Trainz Pro Routs) for an example,
to download content, it won't go stright to CMP, I have to save it to my desktop, then import it to the CMP.
I never had to do that except for zip files, or older content.

Tried all suggestions but nothing...

I have Trainz 2009 and 2006. I tried everything listed here for their respective versions and nothing work. It still sits as 0.00 Mbps. I have have my FCT back however.
 
I have CM3.2 back working as it should for Ts2010/SP2, but CMP for TRS06 is still sitting at 0.0 despite trying everything mentioned...

i'm having grave concerns about this problem
i'm still stuck in limbo
it has been 3 days tried all solutions and nothing
i wonder why some trainzers fixed the prob lem and others havn't

Similar problem. I have 2006, 2009, and 2010 installed. Although I had the FCT problem on all versions, 2009 and 2010 appear to have righted themselves.

Cannot download with 2006 despite following the procedures outlined.

My problem with being unable to download from the actual DLS using FTP is now working despite being told it would not work and that the creators would need to upload the content again. I was after one particular item via FTP from the DLS and this morning it would not work but now it is after someone discovered what the problem was and fixed it.

Not sure what has been done but this part is now fixed.

I feel for you guys still stuck in limbo now that Australia is starting a long weekend for the Easter period, I am not sure if there will be any one at Auran to look at the problems for 4 days.

I have same problem FCT is there and has been for 2 days, finds assets but download goes to 0.00bps and nothing. I have tried all suggestions many manyt times.

I got my fct back but still cannot download its been 36 hrs

hello zec: I have trs06

I got my fct back thats good. but I have some items in the download cart I tried and the red arrow shows its is downloading but the network speed is not working and and so I still cannot download. are they still working on the servers? I have even tried your suggestings in this post nothing happened I also puta ticket in to help desk but no answer there. so I'm stuck.

CM 3.2 is not updating the asset list. It had been updating a couple times a day once you guys fixed the uploading software but since the server change my CM is not receiving any updates from the DLS.
 
Hi everyone, I am having the same problem. I tried suggestions from the thread, but it is not doing anything. I am a first ticket subscriber and I am getting very upset with this problem. I lost more than four days trying to fix this problem. I am a customer looking for solutions, I shouldn't be the one fixing the software. Trainz has the obligation to provide users with necessary updates when they encounter problems. I paid a subscription that I can't use at this time. Trainz doesn't offer extention when it is over.
 
Download Station is down...seems Trainz has become totally unsupported, and will no longer function.

Glad I didn't pay Auran for a FCT.

This is exactly what it is going to be like come September 2010
 
G'Day All, I have a few thoughts about this mess.

1. I know TRS2006 requires net framework for CMP connectivity, do later versions require it, I'm fairly sure when I helped a friend out installing TRS2009 on a clean XP64 bit install it did not call for net framework to be installed. If this is correct then maybe whatever they have done does not use or support the net framework set-up.
2. The other thought I had was they put something in the system ready for the September axing and it has activated already.
3. Is there anyone out there who can download using CMP in TRS2006?? If so let us know and give us a clue as to what you did to get it going.

I have the same problems as everyone else, so I won't bore everyone by repeating them for the millionth time.

But the issue of paying for a FCT that's unusable is an interesting one. Will Auran be offering to extend FCT's by a few days for free as a token gesture, given that we've paid good money for something that, currently, is worthless?
 
Apologies for the repetition, but, yes, the same thing for me:
  • CMP in TC3 recognises assets on the DLS, but won't download;
  • CM 3.2 in TS10 will download, but only assets up to 27 March - it doesn't recognise any assets on the DLS after that date (which I assume coincides with the move to the new servers?)
However, I do have FTP access so I can get hold of assets, though it is rather wearisome, especially if there's lots of dependencies!

Well, here it is, another fine sunshiny day here in Quincy Wa; and still no downloading.:'( I think that their new servers are on the wrong track to noplace!!! :hehe: Im not going renew my FCT untill they fix it down there!!

Robert... EDIT---I can still download thourgh FTP, but what a pain in my mouse finger!!
