Folders ORIGINAL AND LOCAL

Just received my TS12 and would like to move my downloaded assets into TS12 from Trainz2010. Well sorta. I renamed the Local folder in TS12 Localx and copied my Local folder from Trainz2010 into the TS12 location.
I have copied the ja. files from 2010 and added the serial number as suggested in others threads and it seems to work. Will TS12 read the new full TS12 Local folder with the 2010 data or do I have to do another extended Data Base update to incorporate the added data. Do I need to do anything with the ORIGINAL folder in TS12 or just leave it as it is?

Please don't modify the Local or Original folders in a Trainz install, as it results in data corruption. If you want to install content, use Content Manager.

The proper way to do what you want is to use the Import Content command in Content Manager and choose your TS10 Local folder. If you have a lot of content the process will take a while so best to do it overnight.
