Personally I would get a boxed version even though it will take longer to reach you.
Yes the digital version will allways be available for you to re download should things go wrong, if there is a glitch anywhere during the download it will be corrupted.

Correct but I used Jdownloader and they all downloaded just fine. I then copied them over to a flash drive that I keep in a drawer. As long as it's not from steam I really don't see the reason for the wait but that's just me I'm an impatient person:wave:

But I can see what your saying and understand it fully. But I have a very spotty DSL and was able to download it without a problem. I think most of the problems people have is they try to download it through the browser instead of using a download manager.

I don't know if I would trust a file that large strictly through the browser.

Jdownloader is freeware that can be found by doing a Google search. It's always worked well for me.

As far as an actual guide, just download all the files and put them on a DVD or flash drive I would suggest putting your serial number in a text file with them.

There's really not much to add to that it's pretty much brain dead simple, if you're using Vista or Windows 7 install as an administrator, where you put your files i.e. outside of program files or on a separate drive is really a matter of personal preference. I've installed it both ways and it works equally well either way for me anyway.
