first class ticket

I thought that when you got a FCT that it allond you to DL stuff quicker and with out the server being full. Well that not the case with me i have 06 09 & 10 and i can DL on 06 but not on 09 or 10 and my ticket is wasting away cause it 10 i want to DL for.
 
Hi Danny. I know it may sound like an obvious question, but have you activated your FCT yet? If not, you can do so via the Profile button above.

danny5, what I would suggest at this point is the following 2 things:

1.Change your password in your profile (you can use the same one)
2.Clear out the list in the Download Helper panel in Content Manager (if you are using TRS2006 or above)

Do not buy a FCT, i did the following above about the password details and no effect this is all down to the server and too many connections please note your forum is not the only one saying about this problems of connections

Hi Danny5 did you get you issue sorted I am having the same problem and have cleared my download helper out and reset my password and nothing has changed I can never get on to download station I have a 365 day ticket and this has been going on for 10 days now. In the content manager under internet it tells me I have 355 days left but every time I try to download something I get the unable to connect to server server is full.

Anybody go any ideas would like to get this working as I have now not been able to down load anything for months. that is why I got the ticket and it has not fixed anything.

FCT DLS

Same here. Always full and return later. Why aren't they doing anything about it. We are paying for it, we are customers. I have written a ticket to the helpdesk. Never heard anything in return. Maybe they want us to go to Railworks 2. Never a problem there.

There is two things to think about the first is If you live in America you won't get a response untill 6:00pm eastern time which is morning for them.

The second is they only have one person there so it takes him a long time to answer all the questions give him some slack. Plus the flood in Austrailla doesn't help either.:(

Another thing the whole railworks is perfect is all lies no game is perfect.
I hate that game because it takes a high tech computer to run it and I don't have the money to get one.

Try the password reset in your profile again but this time make sure Trainz is not running and clear any cookies first. Save it, reboot the PC then wait a while, just did this yesterday, took about 20 minutes after resetting for it to start working. Auran's pages are loading very slowly at times for the last few days that's probably why the time delay.
 
I am sorry for the users having this problem as i been reading the posts you have sent. Its a shame paying money for the service you are not getting. even the basic users are getting this problem as well.

:'( I now see whats auran's game is all about, do not blame the trainz software or your internet connection or firewall username or password its all down to auran.

I have been checking other forums as well nearly a same topic all round

duh, i bough a fct for the last three years with out any problems.......
 
Well I remembered to tell Windows that Trainz is VIP and can do what it wants to, I'm downloading gig's of the stuff right now at over 350 KBps.

FCT

Never had any problems in the 3 years I have been using these FCT's. Downloaded 100's of Gigs worth of stuff and always with very high speeds.

Most of the problems reported in this forum are usually down to user error or stuff-up. Never had a problem with installs of Trainz at anytime or any versions.
 
Well i did everything that was suggested nothing seem to be working. In 06 it showed that i have 86 days left but that tells me that the server is full or can't fine URL. So the days keep ticking off.
 
If you have already tried changing your password, and clearing out your download list, it may be general server issues (I'm having trouble accessing the DLS at the moment, so it may be affecting it)

I have a lifetime First class ticket, and I have only had download problems on the odd weekends, I know Neverfail were looking into it, and also an annoying message from time to time... (Waiting For Auran) with a blank white box, these are little problems that I am sure in time will be fixed.

However with regards to downloading, I go down the list of dependencies and I download each item seperately, it does take time, but at least I do know I will get every dependencie for that item, which increases it's chances of not being faulty, my thought is I have payed for a First Class Ticket, so I am going to get the most out of it, so I use it to the max.

Boy sorry you are having such a lousy time with the FCT. I have been using the DLS for around a year and I was having a hard time D/L anything over about 2mb. I finally decided to get a FCT and now it is working great for me with fast DL speeds. It was a life saver for me...Hope you get it figured out...

First Class ticket Problems

I too am having problems with the system. for several weeks all I can get in terms of a response is "Uable to download, the server appears to be full. please try later". I think it started when Auran were on Christmas holidays.

Now my first class ticket has run out and have missed out on some of it's duration. I do feel a bit cheated.
As a point of interest now that my first class ticket has expired I am still getting the same response. Something wrong.
 
I have a puzzler for you also: Why can I put gibberish into the Username and Password fields, click Save and be told within a second or two that I've entered bad data, but when I change it back to my proper username and password it either hangs forever telling me it is verifying, or just plain gives up and NEVER answers me?

This whole FCT business is really getting old. Auran/N3V in danger of losing some pretty loyal fans if they don't get it squared away.
