Sorry, but just exactly what won't work? Are you referring to the possiblility that you are not able to download items from the download station? Are you for some reason not able to open the link to the previous post?
A first class ticket will allow you to download faster than 4kbps if the server is available for connection. Like all FTP servers, the DLS has a finite number of connections it can accomodate. A well designed system will give a clear message that it is at or near it's connection limit. Unfortunately, the DLS gives a more or less criptic response that you do not have permission to connect.
I personally do not download enough to warrant the purchase of a firstclass ticket and perhaps being in Canada gives me a timezone advantage that seems to allow me to connect and download without any problems what so ever. Of course I never get over the 4k limit set for none fct holders, but that is fine for my purposes.
So, please when posting, give clear concise descriptions / definitions as to what you are up against with a full reference to the version of trainz installed, services packs installed, whether you are dialup or broadband, whether you have windows XP with SP2 installed, whether you have firewall installed and perhaps you have a port blocked that is required for FTP to work.
In short we need more info. We will always be pleased to assist but we need the info to help out.
