First Class Ticket

My FCT expired... a day early, I might add. I paid for a new one about eight hours ago. Website still says my ticket has expired. How long does it take them to turn on a FCT??? They seem to have received my money nice and quick-like...

Log into your planet Auran profile. Under "tickets" you can activate your new ticket. Activation can take up to 24hrs to complete; however there are some tricks you can do that I'm sure someone here will tell you to do that can on occasion speed up the process.

Where is the "activate" button? The profile page only shows I have an expired FCT. No links to any "activation". Trainz closed, CM closed. What a frustrating program... which I can't seem to live without.

Well, 24 hours has come and gone, FCT status still shows "expired". No "activate" button. As far as downloading (or uploading) content is concerned, I'm dead in the water. That was money well spent....geeez! I submitted a few helpdesk tickets last night. Only a form letter in response. I am not a happy customer...

OK, I think I figured it out. Here's the scoop. Somehow I have two accounts at each of Sim Central and Auran. Of course, I bought the ticket at Sim Central under the account my computer remembered me as, which is NOT the account my serial number is recorded in at Auran. So either I have to buy *another* FCT under the right account, or somehow have it transferred to the right account. Somehow I believe the latter will never happen, so I'm probably out $25 - no big hardship. Just a pile of unwanted red tape. Yeah, I submitted a help ticket for the matter. <Face-palm>

N3V is a small company, the helpdesk isn't manned 24hrs (and is only manned by a small crew). Give it a them some time to respond.

Hi Vic,

Remember too that they are 14 or 15 hours on the other side of the world. So at the moment, it's only 5:00 AM if I'm counting my time zones right. They will respond and maybe you can have them merge your accounts together so everything works.
