I bought a first class ticket for my son and it is active as of today and it is telling me that it's expired. I have no clue how all this works, could someone help me please!

You have to register your Trainz Serial Number at Join: Planet Auran, and under Tickets: click "activate": "Ticket"
You will fill out a Profile and type in your E-Mail address, and make a Username & Password (write it down someplace safe, like on the CD Box, for future reference).

He already has a Planet Auran account, so registering a Planet Auran account by your instructions does not apply.
His Trainz User ID is 563258. 
How ever, the instructions for activating an FCT may very well apply.
