Finding objects on layouts

In Surveyor, you can find objects on layout as long as you named them by clicking on the icon with the question mark after placing them on the layout. How do you find objects by object name and not the name that you entered after clicking on the icon with the question mark? For example, "substation69" instead of "36th Street".

Hey Jeff, I'm not sure I've completely grasped your question (still working on my first coffee of the day here!) but you can use the 'find' command in the drop down menu in Surveyor.

In the dialogue box that opens select whichever category of object applies; if your stations are passenger enabled then choose the 'industry' category; if they aren't passenger enabled you can find them under the default category as long as you have named them - if you haven't named them they appear as station1 etc - this should work for you.
