Finally ordered a new Desktop !

The trouble here is that new sources of revenue are not used to reduce the national debt. Instead they are used to invent and fund new entitlement programs.

You are still better off. I just looked up "US national debt per person" and it is a mere $52, 025 per person. The UK national debt is £172,000 POUNDS per person.

The computer I bought thru Amazon was an iBuyPower $509.99 NO TAX AND FREE SHIPPPING. When it arrived (two days later) I looked at the components (Intel, AZZA, Asrock, MSI, Toshiba,etc.), made a list of model numbers and went to PC Partpicker.com. Total price for the components $547.00. I think I came out ahead. Good price, quality components, and plenty of room for upgrading/expanding. I could not afford a $1300-1500 dollar system (and remain happily married).
I'm happy!
