FCT Restrictions?

Do the First Class Tickets have some sort of DL cap or any other restrictions. I was DL-ing stuff fairly quickly, and now it seemed to have bottlenecked to some ridiculously low rate. It seems to 'search' for a long period, and then permits the DL all of the sudden.

Normally, Content Manager will do the searching for dependencies of each asset (the "Searching" phase) that you have added to the Download Helper window fairly quickly (though it can still take a little bit ofg time if you have added a lot of assets to the Downoad Helper, as CM searches for dependencies of each asset one at a time). A little while ago (and I just tried it again), however, I added some of Dave Snow's new assets to the Download Helper and the "Searching" phase stood still. The DLS must be currently either down or slow. I also have an FCT. There is no download quota for FCT holders, as far as I know. There is one for non-FCT holders.

Thanks for the info, friend. I guess the DLS must be jammed up right now, then.

There has been a problem with the DLS the last few days: No new content showing up and thumbnails not showing. That seems to have been fixed now, but now ofcourse everyone is trying to download like mad so the server is getting a spike and will respond a lot slower then under normal conditions.
Give it 24 hours or so and see what happens.

I noticed this just today also. The DLS is VERY slow in "finding" content - it remains 'searching' for five minutes at a time. Once it is found, it then starts to download but I seem to be capped at around 150Kb vice my "normal" 340-360Kb. I hope this is just a slowdown and does not become the norm.
