In many instances I have read comments in the forums of how easy it is to fix faulty assets in CMP. Yet in searching the forums I find hundreds of posts, none of which speciically refer to this topic.

Does anyone have a simple instruction tutorial that describes the process of fixing faulty assets.

Thanks.

Thank you for those additional links. These have saved me a lot of time finding the info I need to finally get around to fixing the many faulty assets I have in both TRS 2oo6 and TC.

Cheers.

What about after fixing assets?? Slightly OT

I have a layout. It's large and detailed. I'd guess I've spent 4 to 6 weeks fixing assets. :(
Now I'm considering uploading the layout to DLS. What about the folks that dl my layout? They'll get the content from DLS, and boom. (Unless they've already fixed that bit of content.)

Any suggestions?
cheers,

Not really a question of boom. Despite the somewhat dire warnings, nothing really drastic happens using a route with faulty dependencies. Have used a few routes with faulty assets with no problems. Have found that some of the probs in TRS2006 are with inbuilt assets like basic portal, that often produces unexpected results, even with error free rolling stock & locos. Probably more important to error check locos & rolling stock than route assets. Just my opinion.
