EXTREME TRAINS airs on History Channel on....

Its seems that extreme trains is available for free on itunes. Pls search for extreme trains in the itunes store. i dont know if its only available on the US version of the itunes stores. Maybe others can confirm this.
btw, the episode is free now and i dont know if apple will charge for it later.

Well guys I got to see Freight Train Tuesday, November 18th at 10PM ET/9C last night.
First, it was good, but the side things I could have done without, like talking about the grease and oils from the steamer -- leave that for the Steamer episode.
Also, they need to cut back on the editing -- too many fast cuts just made my dizzy.
I think they should talked about more on who the Engineer communicate with HQ while on the road and when approaching their designed areas.
Overall it was good, and I learned a few thing as well!!

Was a decent one...just wish they didn't edit it so stupidly thinking someone wouldn't notice the problems with it. For example right before they said "and here we are arriving in Baltimore" They showed some NJT trains in clips that they must have taken on from later in the trip,and just randomly put them there,unless NJT made some sort of adjustment to there schedule
:hehe: They should have also focused a little bit on the surronding commuter RRs as well,that run on the same line. MARC,VRE,SEPTA,NJT,MN,SLE,MBTA etc...because they play a huge role in how Amtrak has to keep track of the Acela and make sure it doesn't crash into a low speed commuter. Another bone to pick...why did he have to stay in the power car during the whole show? Except for the short period that he was in the shop in DC...I would like to have seen what it's like from a "passengers" perspective of riding on it,as well as what the conductor does.

i was just reading a Loki Special last night, and an ad in it was for a Swiss train store, and their motto was 'the good old days are about to start'.
i'll sit in front of my t.v. waiting. umm, have to go out and buy a t.v...
