Enlisted

Going on Holiday Block Leave. Waiting at the airport in Norfolk, Virginia. Another 14 hours until I'm back to where I came from. And it won't be long until get on back home. This time when arrive in California, I won't be in civilian clothing. I'm gonna be in uniform. There's strong, and then there's Army Strong. HOOAAH!!!!

I recommend taking your uniform to the dry cleaners for a good pressing, and a day or two before you return be sure to get a hair cut. You don't want to go back looking like a soup sandwich.

Other then that, good on you. A lot of people don't make it through Basic Training.

no where your @ at all times. I had close friend that got killed that way in the Navy on a flight deck. Believe it or not it happens all the time people forget where they are at. keep your head on a swivel at all times.

Interesting. I was an Aviation Electronics Tecnician as well from 98 to 11. Stationed mostly in Va Beach (NAS Oceana). Nice to see fellow AT's around. (I fixed the hornets.)
