Enlisted

Anyways I wonder once I get to do the PT and I show off during or after I complete the 2 mile run? I bet the Drill Seargant won't take too kindly of my boastful acts lol.

:hehe::hehe::D:D

Just curious, but does anyone else agree that this thread has kinda run its course? We've gone from announcing we're in the military to linking up football teams...
I'm not really ashamed to say neither one of those fits into this forum.

Just my thoughts...

The football team thing was just for fun. Besides I think we should have a place to discuss off-topic stuff. RRMODS and Jointed Rail have that. But then again.... Just my 2 cents.

not football :confused:

4 attempts to make 9 metres? compared to rugby league? 5 attempts to make 120 metres, and there is only a 5 second stop, not 5 minutes, and they tackle like athletes not tubs of jelly

Well that was really interesting Jamie. Really good stuff man.

I spent not quite 10 years in the USCG - my wife spent not quite 2 years in th USMC. We enjoyed it. Good luck and stay safe.

I was in US Army ROTC, decided that I wasn't so crazy about working for The Uncle, and ended up going to civilian law enforcement. My grandmother was a Wave and my grandfather a Marine in WWII. I have nothing but the highest regard for those who serve to protect our freedom. Good luck to you, Kris.

A flight huh? Things have changed, when I enlisted, I had take a train to boot camp! Actually, I prefer the train. Good luck!

K. Remember, you do have a ton of people supporting you, even if we disagree on trains, lol. Just remember, you'll get through it, don't worry. You'll be thrown a few physical obstacles and a whole lot of psychological ones, but you'll be fine. It's a game. Suffer, and show it if you want to at key times, but in the back of your mind keep thinking 'haha my legs hurt, but I'm good. Every thing is a test, no more, no less.

One of the more frustrating days. First plane was late leaving and arriving. Then my next flight was delayed. Almost missed the bus because of that. Then the bus never showed up so we're staying in a motel. I hate American Airlines!!!! Might try and stay up.
