Actually i'd be quite happy if i never saw another SW again in my life :hehe:. A 1001 would come in handy though.a new SW platform for the SW1, 7, 8, 9, 600, 900, 1001, and 1200 would be nice wouldn't it...
I would see these run past my house every week pulling good ol' IPL coal hoppers to the power plant just up the road growing up.I actually saw one of those units down here in Alabama. Couldn't figure out what it was until I was basically right next to it, thought it might be SOO until I got close, then I instead wondered what it was doing in central Alabama.
Those pictures actually bring up a point that I'd like to inquire about for anyone perusing this thread. Between that 4037, 4051, 4043, and 6599, no two of those engines have the same type of horn, two have mailbox battery slots, and one has a gold trim instead of solid red. This very visual variety is something that generally dissuades us [Justin and I in particular] from wanting to do large number sets for individual assets. When it comes to large engine orders of around 50 or more we narrow it down to the most common details across the order / number range to provide as many numbers as possible for the asset. This variety is part of why you don't see us do more hodgepodge stuff [see: Wisconsin Central SW1500], as the units are all too varied with regards to little detail parts like that. With that in mind I'd like to ask what y'all prefer for these situations:I would like to see an Indiana Southern Railroad EMD GP40. With ARN, Weathering, and a custom cab. I know it's probably far fetched, but one can wish right?
One engine model, with ARN would be good for me. As long as it is the gold and red Scheme and weathered. The horn can be changed in the config file, if I fell that it need to be changed. It all depends on what horn the engine comes with. I just posted the pictures as an example to what the Engines look like. Preferably for T:ANE.Those pictures actually bring up a point that I'd like to inquire about for anyone perusing this thread. -One engine model with one type of horn, # specific details, etc. with ARN for the entire number series
-Individual locomotives modeled [i.e. you purchase 4037, 4051, and 4043 individually, or in a value pack, with all the # specific details modeled and textured on] with ARN where applicable
-Suggestions?
We try to nail these things down to the rivet whenever possible but a line generally has to be drawn somewhere unfortunately.
Not sure any more. I haven't been back there in years.Cool. Ever see 4040? That was the one I saw down here.
Awesome! That would be great. Can you please make it with ARN though? We're definitely going to make Indiana Southern 4041, albeit the way God intended instead of the current situation
