Engines Wishlist for Jointed Rail.

for me msts was the first train sim i ever used. Would having it really be such a bad idea as I think msts was the one of if not the first realistic train sims.
 
I don't think it is as simple as putting the logo on a model and putting it up for sale, there are a lot of hurdles to get over especially if it is copy write protected. First you have to get permission to use it, then depending, there might be fees and use restrictions involved and I'm almost certain with Microsoft being the owner, there will be fees.

The other side of the equation is demand for the product, i.e., is there enough interest and potential sales to offset the cost of the above. My guess, probably not, I know it is not something I would buy.

You might be able to reskin an engine with the logo for your personal use without any legal issues.

Using the above idea, reskin it by patching an original by JR, paste in a section from a photo of the MSTS BNSF dash 9 unit. That would work. :)

Well this thread has reached 100 pages. (So many suggestions) Anyways I feel that Jointed Rail needs more Diversity in Motion with their AC6000's.

*If JR can change locomotive textures, maybe there can be an option to change the number between 699, 5000 & 5001
 
i agree with the dash-8 proposals! meanwhile, i am patiently waiting to see 1, what our item of the month is for december, and two, what they'll give us for christmas... Time will tell...:o
