Engines Wishlist for Jointed Rail.

RE: WISHLIST

Definitely some great western of Colorado steamers, Canadian pacific 2317, A BDRV diesel (Belvidere and Delaware River Western) and the new Amtrak ACS-164. Anyone who has any of these and is willing to share, please message me and I will get back to anyone as soon as possible. From, Trainman/Connor

Definitely need some AC4400CWs

I actually like the Kansas City Southern. I don't think they get a lot of attention, but they're definitely holding their own despite being the smallest Class I operating railroad in North America, just logging in barely 3,000 miles of track routes. Another AC4400CW.

I agree with having a MK5000C. However, there should be models of both the first three demos, which were built on a 71 feet, 2 inch frame, and the remaining three demos, which were built on a 73 foot, 4 inch frame. They wound up on the Utah Railroad. The rebuilds of the two groups should be included, which were called MK50-3; they were rebuilt with EMD 16-645F3B engine blocks, AR11 alternators, and long hoods from six retired ex-UP SD50M's. Nothing else was replaced during the rebuild. It might be interesting if the two sets of demos be painted in fictional paint schemes based on the railroads they were used by. The first three was used on the Southern Pacific, while the second group was used on the Union Pacific.

Didn't know all that Jordon but i'd be happy with just a Utah Railway MK5000C for starter's. I have sum basic measurements around here sum where but finding actual drawings is near on impossible.
Cheers Mick.

This may sound like a long shot, but how about trying to contact Motive Power Industries, MK Rail's (MK Rail was the rail division of Morrison Knudsen) successor, and see if they have the blueprints and if you can have copies of the MK5000C's for making your models?
