nickelplateroad: Justin already stated he doesn't like INRD #9025 and that he will most likely not make that paint scheme for it.

EDIT: Isn't this like, you're 7 billionth time asking for 9025 to be made?

This. thing. is. hideous. Thats just a hellishly bad paint job on that unit. Even BNSF's H3 looks better than that and the H3 scheme isn't all that appealing either. You want warbonnet on a modern unit, stick with the ATSF red & silver or the blue and yellow freight warbonnet.

Keeping on asking ain't gonna make it any better. Just accept theres some that won't ever be made. Not everyone likes the same thing. Sure I'd love to see a WP 2-8-8-2 (yes they were real, and from what i've read they were real brutes) but that doesn't mean i ask over and over again. I haven't hardly tried much for building one cuz i know i have too little patience for it. So cool the jets, dude.

What in the name of **** is that?! GP7 with SW1500 cab and trucks?

Its what they call a sweep, an SW1500 rebuilt using a GP9 long hood. A rebuild exclusive to CN if I'm not mistaken. Though I think they have been purged from the roster by now.

POST EDIT: they were SW1200RS's and classed as SW1200RM's after rebuild, SW1200 cab, frame and trucks with the long hood from a retired GP9RM. Called "Sweeps" as they were a SW1200 GP9 hybrid. Built by CN's Pointe St. Charles shop in the late 80's. Only 8 were ever made, they sported the 12-645C prime mover. All sold to CANAC in 2000. All info came from this site http://yardlimit.railfan.net/rebuilds/cn-sweep/

Hi all,

I think the E-7 A and Bs would be a great project in the Golden State and Daylight for the Espee, but for other roads as well. A nice touch, I think, would be to make the front coupler on the A units retractable so that it could present this appearance.
