Engines Wishlist for Jointed Rail.

How about an NS SD40E? Basically a rebuilt SD50.

Not a locomotive but a function of the engine, would it be hard to have the run/isolate option for all the engines so you could run a big consist with several offline like the real dude's do?

I like this idea. Something tells me this will be possible once they figure out the startup/shutdown functionality.
I know it will be since it already functions decent with some engines minus some sound issues. In the mean time I'd be happy with just the ability to isolate a couple of them and leave them running.

I found this little guy on facebook

And a little information Randy Zarowny submitted these pictures taken by Frank Donnelly the ifrst week of April of their homemade TP-56, in Squamish, BC. The TP56 (It will develop 56,000 lbs. of TE hence the “56” in the model number. “TP” is for Tractive Power Corporation) will be coming through North Vancouver April 9th, [laced on the end of the CN train. It’s schedule to be pick up in Squamish between 02:00 and 10:00 April 9th. It’s eventually going to Parrish and Heinbecker (P&H) in Cloverdale via the SRY.

Looks like they took the back of a SW1500, and the front of an SD40-2 Snoot, extended the snoot nose a bit. Then combined the back of the SW1500, and the front of the SD40-2 snoot cab.

A litltle more informaion Its truck donor was CP 5805 . , and is the real thing...the frame is modified from SD40- 2 as well ... in Squamish BC, Also it Was built by these guys and on there site they have a small engine on the site , that might enplane why it has doors on that one side only

EDIT ; Here is the information

This is a pretty cool little engine. I like how they were able to build it using "second hand parts" probably helping to cut costs way down. This looks like a project for Dave Snow or the JR team.
