I down loaded a service pack. When I create a new session, I no longer have the built in Engineers, and now can not run a train, because I can't pick an engineer. Before the sercvice pack install, when I added a new locomotive, the driver was automatically installed. When I edit this part, I have no list of engineers.

What version of Trainz are you using? If it is 2006 I think you might not have installed the service pack correctly as required. If it is 2004 you may not have had your antivirus turned off.

I agree. Try a reinstall of the service pack. That means uninstalling and reinstalling the whole caboodle (TRS2006 + SP1).
