Engine overheating issues

Recently bought a few of JR's payware units. I noticed that the SD80s begin to experience an engine overheat when they pull around 100klbs of tractive effort.

Is there any way to disable this feature? Thanks.

It is not prototypical. An AC unit like the SD80 is not going to "overheat" after a few seconds of putting out 100klbs. This would mean these units can't really be operated below 10MPH in high throttle, which is exactly what they were designed to do.

Locomotives are not fragile pieces of equipment.

I tried to operate 4 of them (SD80MAC, DS70M/MAC) at ~13 mph over the JRB route (very step grades) with a 9.000t coal train. after 4 mins all engines were 'overheating and shut down'. Every Dash 9 does the same procedure at about 20 mph with no problems or moaning :p tried that too
