emit now rule

Hello I ve tried to use this rule for the first time with great hopes of control, but after selecting it in session rules then going to driver I cannot find no sign of it anywhere I know. If any one knows more about the use of this rule I would be gratefull.All the best George

I tried the Emit Train Now <kuid2:117746:990:4>it dose not work in TS12.
I too don't know how these CPC emit Train & Emit Train on Trigger work but would like to fine out.? Can someone tell us how they work (set up)

"Emit train now" and CPC

"Emit train now" works in TRS2006 but gives a timeout error in TS2010 on my machine.
It is manually operated by a button that appears low down on the right hand side of the screen saying "New Train". When pushed, a window appears with options to select which train to emit.

CPC means "Central Portal Control" and is an alternative way of setting up portals using the properties button. The advantage is that all the portals can be accessed from the same rule even though you can't see them.

"CPC: Emit train" emits a train when your train passes over the specified trigger. It needs "trigger check" or "check trackside" to be used to fire the rule at the right time.

"CPC: Emit train on trigger" has the trigger mechanism built into the rule.

Both of the above rules expect a train to have been set up in CPC.

Since the author of the rules forbids modification it is unlikely that any problems will be fixed.

Try this topic for EMIT TRAIN NOW
when setting up
1)place a track marker anywhere on route naming it emit train now
2)set up portals
3)it will show a error on first attempt close and try again works fine in 2010
