I was wondering how many tiles can you add to a route before the program starts slowing down if it does effect performance at all.Right now i have about 250 squares.I do have a upper end PC that i built and run tri screens with iRacing but i am not to sure about this program.

It's not the number of baseboards that will slow things down, but what you put on it. I have a route which is easily 1500 miles of track on thousands of baseboards and it runs at around 50 fps or more. Its also fairly well detailed and runs smoothly with an i5 7600 with a 1060 6gb OC and so far supports about 20 AI trains.
cheers Graeme

It's more the high detailed trees that will slow you down especially how you did you set the tree quality through the settings

Nearly all speedtrees up close on my route. Not many different types though and all have good LOD. I run everthing maxed out except 4000 draw, No PhysX and no render behind camera and texture streaming off.. Splines kill framerates far worse than speedtrees.
