Editing Question about Backdrop...I think?

Can anyone please help me identify how to remove the backdrop (?) in the image below?

Depends if it's an asset or a spline (yellow circles), can be either, just delete it from the objects or spline objects tab using the red X.

Thank you but first I need to identify it? How can I do that? I've tried clicking on the area without success.

If its a spline it will have the yellow circles, if not it will just be an ordinary asset, you don't need to identify it to delete it.

Might need to check if it's on a different layer that's locked if its not deleting.
