Oh, the joys of adjusting the screen resolution!

Is there a place I can make a small donation to you?
May I instead offer a small gift of my Payware to you?

Thanks Mac, but no need on either score!

I make Trainz routes because I love making Trainz routes! I get more than enough reward simply reading through the comments in threads like this.

I have a huge respect for the perseverance you have shown in improving the appearance and performance of 3D trees, but since I plan to release any routes I make it is impractical to use Payware. Many folks either won't download the route or will download the route without the payware content and attempt to replace the missing assets with 'orroble stuff I never would have used! Your beautiful trees would simply languish unused in a forgotten corner of my hard drive...

I truly appreciate the sentiment that prompted your offer. That payment I accept unreservedly.

Andy

Runaway train
Today, during the maneuvers, the coal wagons decided to go for a ride ;)

Looks like my computer upgrade might come sooner than planed.

Your route's spectacular vistas and screenshots have teased me for so long. I'm going to have to wait a lot longer in impatience for your route to finally reach my end, due to computer faults and low performance.

In addition, I fail to have TS2010, but would it be worth it to purchase '10 for this route? I think I'll wait for TS2011/12 to come out.

I wish you one of the best New Years.

Cheers,
Joshua

Josh,

I run this route in TS2010 SP3 (see under my username for my most current Trainz version) and it runs absolutely amazing. Did have a little bit of jitter, but when you have iTunes, Photoshop, Opera, and 4 IM's running in the background and on a second monitor, yea you get that. :p

Here is my system:
CPU: Intel Core i7 980X (w/Cooler Master N-520 CPU cooler @ 3.33GHz)
MOBO: ASUS Rampage III
RAM: 12 GB (3 - 4GB Corsair Dominator)
GPU: 2 - ATi Radeon HD5870
PSU: Corsair Professional Series 1200 watt
Optical: 2 - LG BluRay Burners
Sound: Logitech Z5500
HDD: 3 - WD Cavair Black 1.5 TB
SSD: 1 - Curcial 64GB (OS)
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
Case: Cooler Master HAF X
Monitor: 2 - 27in Samsung P2770 Full HDMI

Does anybody know what the dependencies amount to download wise? not like i care--my computer is the best i've ever had and my FCT makes the 100mb limit and ridiculously slow downloads irrelevant (I just downloaded 104mb in 15-20min :D) but i'm just curious. If it's like 200-300mb, i don't care, it's worth it.

No clue you estimate is probably close, but I downloaded just everything on Dermmy's web page and it works great. Still a ton of missing/unknown dependencies for me. Still looks good so who cares. :p

When I was testing EK3 my copy of TS2010 only had my own content in it when I installed the route. I can't remember exactly how much there was off the DLS but I know it was around 130mb.

Yeah. It's about 3,000 times better than what I run! :hehe:

speaking of which, i made her out of SP's CSX SD40-2. Maybe she'll be lurking the EK soon:hehe: :o :D

Getting the brakeshoes warmed up rolling through Cornettsville.

Rolling easy through the river valley.

Letting the S3L rip while passing through Fusonia.

Not too much going on in Viper these days.

We have the lineup at Carr's Creek Junction to begin yarding our train.

Snaking our 90 car train through the crossovers.

After we tripled into the yard the Trainmaster ordered us to shove the last cut up to Buckeye instead of clogging the entire yard.

Cut away and back down the hill we go.

Gonna take a lot of rock to fill all those up.

Power tied down and grips off the engine, waiting for a cab to take us to the Combs Motel over in Hazard.

Words and even pictures cannot express how impressive EK3 is.

Yes it is, however it is payware. Available HERE. It is a C30-7 and not an U Boat but a chugging GE is a chugging GE, right?

Top notch quality. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
