East Kentucky

Andy I have to say I think you are one hell of a kitbasher. You come up with some awesome ways to use different content to create great looking industries! I am certainly looking forward to a destination for the coal!! Thanks

Mike

Thanks Guys. I will try for some more screenshots of the power plant, but it is jammed into a narrow valley and getting good shots from other angles is tricky. In the meantime would you settler for westbound empties at a grade crossing in Combs Ky.?

Man, this route keeps reminding me of various trips to the L&N. One of them, was in 1973, and three Louisville and Nashville F7s had a general merchandise freight and I was riding along and along the way, we passed a coal train handled by a pair of GP9s, and of the power lashup, there were two Penn Central GP9s on the train, which I can honestly declare was strange to see PC power on an L&N train. I must admit, the PC power was miles away from home rails, but it was a site to see.

PM1225, how is that possible? According to this post, you're weren't even around to witness much of Conrail.

Andy,

I have been following your progress on this route for quite a while, and I can say that you have a real gem in the making. Between the lush vegetation, realistic industrial scenery, and the JR locos, I'm ready to burst with anticipation for this route! Excuse me for one moment...:mop:

Keep the great work you Aussie! :p

Carfreak4, I am older than 16. I just feel as vibrant as as 16 year old would.
