hey k4 driver the strasburg is a good steam railroad they are restoreing a long island 4-6-0 in there shops and 1361 should have been to strasburg insted of steamtown. and strasburg is great with there #90

it is like tweetsie in north carelina when tweetsie opened in 1957 their frist steamer was ET&WNC 12 now tweetsie 12 over the years tweetsie bought ex white pass and yokon 190. it is like EBT #15 just owned by a another railroad. in 1990 the tweetsie had their frist ever ghost train event and had ever fall. the engine pull the tweetsie ghost train is 190. and tweetsie has a railfan weekend it is just like the old easty just in a different state.
They got 190 after WP&Y dieselized. EBT did not and will not dieselize. GE presented several plans to use 70 tonners or export locomotives to dieselize, but EBT obviously didn't listen. EBT 15 will never be owned by another railroad and if it is, I'll personally make sure that I am somehow able to get her back here where she belongs.

yea the tweetsie and EBT engines great steamers its just that the EBT 15 has more power then TRR 12 and 190.

THAT'S BECAUSE #315 IS A COLORADO LOCOMOTIVE AND THE D & S WAS AN IDEAL PLACE TO RUN IT THAT WASN'T OUT OF STATE

yeah, the cost alone to ship a locomotive out of state the distance between Durango and Obisonia, good luck finding someone to pay that. second why would they, there is no tourist draw to it, nor any history reason to do that.they can if they what to.
