Hey guys would you be kind enough to tell me what track (wooden sleepers) and matching ballast you are using? Looks really good.

The track is built in to TS10 and '12, under Auran, the ballast I am unsure of Derrick

Jamie

Yup, the track is Auran Track TS2009 Jarrah, and the ballast is TS09 58 (or is that 59?) Ballast. I find that you should turn the texture scale past the middle some when using that ballast with that track, so that the size of the rocks of the ballast texture match the size of the rocks in thr track's ballast suitably well.

That track obsoletes MP-Track wood (which appears to be set so in TS2010's data.ja file), so a route that I imported from TRS2004 had the original MP track replaced with the Auran Jarrah track. The Auran Jarrah track looks nice, except when used for junctions and diamond crossings, so I eventually decided to switch to McGuireL's original UltraTrack (with 3D ties; it does not look as bad when used for junctions and diamonds, in my opinion) and ballast.

Regards,

Retro.

For those who have knowledge of bringing buildings over from the google sketchup program to the Trainz program and if you are interested in helping Andrew and I out with a couple things for this project. Please send me a private message.

There will be a route update coming this Monday which will include 5 new screenshots, But I will leave you with a screenshot at this time. A shot of a BNSF pig train leaving the Kingston yard.

Have a good weekend and see you on Monday.

Hello Fellow Trainzers,

Once again, It is Monday and as I promised last week. I was going to give you a update. As of right now, I am at 90 percent compared to how I was feeling this past week and Andrew also sent me the update last Thursday and I have been going at it slowly and making some progress with the terrain and some small detail to the route. I will be working on the route all week before I send the update to Andrew this coming weekend. Over the last couple weeks, There has been no added track laying as Andrew and I have been adding detail to the area that has been laid out already, But hoping to have some new track laid out in a week or two. Like I stated in the original post of this thread. We are in rush to finish this route and it will get done when it gets done and both of us are happy with the outcome of the route. Right now, Here are 6 new WIP shots that I would like to share at this time. Hope you enjoy them. Until next week, Take care.

October 17th, 2011 Update:

Its another Monday which means its time for another update concerning Eagles Pass. This past week while I had the route. I was pretty much finishing up the small details to a specific area on the route called "Snake River" which is about 8 to 10 miles long. While, There is still a little more to do for the Snake River area. Most of the area is completed at this time. This week, Andrew has the route and he has plans to lay a few miles more of track and roads for the route and add some detail as well to the new area of the route. The area that he is doing at this time is right before the fast track running part of the route starts. Once I get the route again, I will add scenery to what ever scenery he has done to the new area and then Andrew and I will go from there.

This week, I have another 6 WIP shots to post and dont forget. Coming next month is preview video # 2 of Eagles Pass which will be from Kingston to Snake River West. I will also include a small cabride video preview with this upcoming preview.

Untill next week, Enjoy these 6 WIP shots and have a great week. Take care.

Hi EF

Can I suggest in the first shot fixing the YARN intersection with KUID2:506208:100115:1 as it is the right roads for the three roads,

And in the second shot, can you please supply a name for the bridge??

Thanks

Jamie

Once Andrew sees this thread. He will most likely give you the name of the bridge as he is the one who decides which bridges will be used on the route.

October 31st, 2011 Update:

Happy Halloween everyone. I dont have much to report this week as Andrew has had some prior engagements that he had on his plates while I slightly injured myself this past week slipping on the first snowfall of the year in the northeast. Dont worry, The route is still being worked on, But not at the pace as it was a few weeks ago. Hopefully, In a week or two, Things will be back to a slightly normal pace for this route. I am hoping to be able to post the second WIP preview video 2 weeks from today, But I cant make any promises. Anyways, I will leave you with one WIP shot for this week. If you have plans to go out tonight trick or treating. Please be safe and enjoy the evening. Have a good week and I hope to have more to post next week.
