I might be biting off more than I can chew here but would it help to have a section on the forum where DVD's are made available as requested by users to cover repairs, updates, tutorials and any such relevant material - Payware, donation or freeware based as the suppliers of such DVD's decide. There seems to be a need for this seeing that info is scattered all over the forum threads which makes it difficult to find , especially by new users . Sometimes things are discussed in threads where the content gets so technical that only the experts know what is cooking too. A selection of DVD's would , for example, make things easier.
In response to you guys and to add further thoughts : I would not mind donating to say (to mention one between many ) Shane's tutorails on DVD. These are easy to understand and there are so many other cool things like loco's, miscellaneos, routes etc. that we wpould like, but without the tutorials we buy or get them as freeware and then we still have to 'fix' so many things, Buy or get the relevant DVD forst and then you know how to 'fix' right away and there is no frustration and stuff like that.
Another thought guys, - Look at the inventories of many of the the guys who help us - they for instance have not got TS12 themselves, for different reasons , and this means they are actually boycotted and could help us much more should they have all the available versions. They spend much of their time helping us and when we press the 'help' button they are there right away. So they could use donations to get themselves whatever they need to prompote the game.
