Downloads

I am new to Trainz and I would like to know where downloads go usiong Internet Explorer. Also, how are locos, rolling stock, etc. installed.

First, you probably will want to do all your downloading with Content Manager Plus. CMP can identify and download any needed dependencies. Second, even if you do download of the web, you should have run CM at least once while logged in as Administrator so it can set file associations. Then you can download off the web assets either individually or with the Cart feature, which downloads through CMP.

Where do I find Content Manager Plus? Contnet Manager only should three things. I am running Trainz UTC.

Content Manager Plus was introduced in TRS2006 - it does not work with previous versions of Trainz. (TRS2004 and possibly UTC have a basic Content Manager in one of the folders - named ContentManager.exe

EDIT: TrainzObjectz is the tool you can use for UTC/TRS2004 - it behaves similar to CMP, apart from being unable to download itself (Trainz Downloader Pro can be used alongside TrainzObjectz for downloading purposes).
