Downloads missing ???

I have downloaded a lot of items from download station but when I start Trainz 2006 I cant find any of the downloaded items. (I have updated my version of trainz to the latest service pack.)

When I check my harddrive I can see it is smaller, but I cant find any of the items.

When I check in CMT I can see it should be on my pc.

What am I doing wrong ? ....

There are a couple of ways to download from the download station; one is to use the download links within the DLS itself, the other is to download into TRS 2006 by using the Content manager. I can't tell from your narrative which method you used.

If you downloaded from the DLS, hopefully you kept track of where on your hard disk you saved the content you downloaded. If you did not keep track, use the search facility built into Windows, and search for files with a file extension of ~.cdp, and move all of these into the same folder. Then open CMP, point it to that folder, and use CMP to import the content.

Also use Content Manager to check each downloaded kuid for errors and/or missing dependencies. Either of these will often prevent an item from showing in Surveyor.
