I just wonder, with all those suffering a non-working CM2, Auran could give those affected a way to de-activate their FCT until all this mess is sorted!!

Yeah, it would be nice if I could de-activate my FCT. I cannot get a download speed faster then 20KBps... but normally rides just over 10KBps... not worth paying money for...

It`s a firewall setting not an administrative permissions setting. ;)

I remember doing that a few years back with 2006 CMP, when it would not download.

EDIT: Another thing you can do is rebuild the assets database in CM2 a couple of times.

Do a full rebuild and shut down CM2 between each one.

sorry I think I explained it wrong I gave permissions in the Windows firewall to the .exe

Download Station

The download station quit yesterday late afternoon in the middle of a download I was making. It still is not working in any of the Trainz programs. Just says to check your internet connection and firewall settings - duh! No problems going anywhere else.
Also if you try www.auran.com - same thing. It's not there anymore.

Thanks to all

Well just decided to check if the download station would work with high hopes no good we still cannot download on 2006, 2009 with 9 days left on my FTC looks like they just are to busy to fix or get the service pack out.
I hope that they will not let all of us down that cant download that they will fix the problem. I get all the quick fix they send out so it cant be my computer it has to be something in the software if I get there hot fix patch and it uses the trainz patcher to install it my ??? is why is the DL not working
I would like to see the new feature of 2009 looks like 2006
