I've recently downloaded a few items but don't know the procedure to transfer them to my trainz 2009 program.......not good at this kind of thing.....can anybody point me in the right direction ?
If you have downloaded them from a website as .cdp files then to install then you will need to install them with Content Manager - select "Content" from the Trainz launcher menu. In CM go to the "File" menu > "Import CDPs", browse to where you saved the .cdp files and import them.
The easiest way to import Auran DLS content is to use Content Manager built in download facility which will download and install the items for you.
Since you have TS2009, use its Content Manager (CM2) to list the kuids on the DLS then select and download within CM2 and it will automatically install them.
If you downloaded from a third party site and can't find them, then repeat the download but select save instead of open and note the folder that they will go to or, better yet, select the folder that they will go to. Once they are downloaded you can use CM2 and in the menu bar pick File and select Import CDP if the downloaded kuid has a .cdp extension or if not, then select Import Content and point to the folder that you download to.
I've been all over the place and through luck i've managed to install one of my downloads.....even now i forget the process but will try a few more later.....thanks again.
