Download Station/Content Mgr Questions noob

HI all new to Tranz12, used to like ultimate ver. so here I am.

First, even with season pass, is there any free downloads on D-Station?
I am still figuring out content mgr.

Second, Any recommendations for some basic sessions to add to my training?
Either built-in or to download. (especially freight, need more training/help on that one.)
I'm doing ok with the ECML timed passgr and freight runs so far.

Stimpy,

The very first thing you need to do is to register your copy of Trainz (whichever version). It does not cost you anything and it gives you access to a lot of free resources and help - just have your Tranz serial number ready. Click the Register button on the menu line at the top of this forum page.

If you purchased a First Class Ticket, it needs to be activated in your Planet Auran Profile. Once it's activated, you may have to wait 24 hours for it to kick in. Sometimes, but not always, it's active right away. If you are still seeing slow access, even with the FCT, ensure that your download queue is empty and restart Content Manager again.

If you don't have an FCT, you can still download free assets from the DLS, but that is limited to 100MB per day.

Hi John,

2 things, first, you know I am registered but is it not showing up here???
My buttons on top overlap, had a post working on that when I got wiped out.
I see NO register button and could not find other link in the menus. ALSO did not reregister after wipe for 2 reasons,
1 cant find the button, 2 had open ticket with HD and I thought it would be taken care of. Please advise.
So can you attach a link to that AND to helpdesk If I need it because I can not mouse onto that either.

Second: First Class ticket registered at 12 download, but when I go to DSta. and look, everything has a price on it.
Just looking for (sessions or scenarios) if I got it right, all setup, just to drive to help learn and up my proficiency.

I know you're registered. I remember the note from Zec and that's why I mentioned this to Peter so we wouldn't go through that scene all over again!

I've had that issue too with the moderator tools getting in the way of the menu list at the bottom. If you change the size of the browser (CTRL plus - at the same time) you can change the percentage. A little tiny bit seems to help. I was able to resize the screen to 96% of full size which fixed the display issue for me.

Now I think you're going to the wrong place for the Download Station. There shouldn't be a bunch of prices on things for the DLS.

When you start Trainz, at the launcher screen, there is a manage content button.

Click on that one and your Content Manager will come up.

Click on the File then settings... and put in your username, which is the same one for Planet Auran and the one you use here and your Planet Auran password.

Put in your user ID. This is found on Planet Auran also and it's formatted like 124863.

When all this is done, click Save to exit to the main screen. Content Manager should then log you into the network. If your FCT is enabled, you should then be able to download at the faster speeds.
