Download page always shows "Download Link unavailable"

Dear community:

I'm a new Trainz player. When I want to download some locomotives from DLS, it always says

Download Link unavailable
Either:

• If you have just only registered your serial number, your access may not have been activated, please try again in 10 minutes.
• The maximum number of connections to our download server has been reached.

When link to the FTP server, it also get some error message. I just registered my TRS2004 serial number one day ago. And I have gotten this error all day .Does anyone have same problem, too?

Auran's new download servers ccrashed again last night ......it looks like the new servers are picking up from where the old servers left off!.....that is always braking down for the weekend!

I see there back up and running.

Try it again while you still can . :hehe:

It still can't work today:'( . When using TDH, it always "retrying download" until it is "fail".

I get this message too, even when I'm not downloading anything, I've never had a problem with this until a few weeks ago, when it first happened, I placed a post to see if anyone else had this problem, but no one replied, so I thought it must be only affecting certain people in the UK.

Now it seems that more posts are appearing, and it seems I'm not the only one having a problem trying to download anything, I think, as has been said before, Auran have changed there servers and they keep breaking down over the weekends, hopefully they will get round to fixing the weekend problem soon...

It's just good to know, I'm not the only one who is taking 1 hour to download one item from the download station.

I had a similar problem on Friday night - I think the servers are being intermittent (from what I have read, the servers suffered a total crash on Friday night)

It does make me wonder though whether any of the people who were downloading via FTP were using a download manager - most download managers attempt to use more than 1 connection to the server, which can cause server failures.

It's just good to know, I'm not the only one who is taking 1 hour to download one item from the download station.

Looks like im joining the club. Just a second ago it was fine then all of a sudden, it says estimated time remaining 1hr 15min:'( !

I sent this problem to helpdesk. They refreshed my account, and I can download files now. Thanks a lot!
