Does ruler in surveyor do have a fps impact in driver ?

Hi everyone, I read the pdf instruction book of TANE, and it suggest to delete a ruler after using it to take less ressources.

I was wondering, as I have tons of ruler on my route, in Surveyor, if the rules are not deleted , might have a negative influence on the fps when in Driver mode or Driver mode just ignore them ?

They seem to cause a drag in Surveyor, but I never noticed anything in driver. I usually delete them once I've used.

I have definitely noticed a difference when there are a number of rulers left on,
