DIORAMA PEARL HARBOR
Bonsoir,
Before I begin to post screenshots of Pearl Harbor during the Japaneses attack on the forum, I want to show you
those images of a DIORAMA at the 1/700 scale that was done by Richard Smith.

All the Battleships I own ( except the BBNY of DREDDMAN ) were created by MAREK or MAREK 2 and I found them on TRAINZLUVR or TRAINZ SHIP YARD.
I've made some RESKINS to have at least 8 different models fro my PEARL HARBOR map. ( 7 in battleships row and 1 in drydock )
They are all modified to run in TRS2007 (french version of TRS2006).

Ok it's free model ( for a few days in Trainz Shipyard you find more realistic models of all pre WW2 US battleships and aircarriers from M+A Shipyard 
) but you need change a flag. On formast flag of US -> US NAVY flag and on backmast flag of California State -> flag of Pennsylvania State . It isn't compatible with sea rules :hehe: , but its helping in a ship identification.

as you can see we are still sailing a few ships in trainz in a few time periods ....That DIORAMA was fantastic great modeling there
Got a mesh of a PT Boat anout half done minus textures a jap sub and the Battleship Yamoto and a few other ships I should get up n running we realy need some Zeros and a few Kates
I had a thought for all the Naval loving trainzers why dont we create a group map share the custom scenery ect? I will post a thread in community to see if anyone wants to form a group to create a unique layout :udrool:

It is a great idea.I am already ( 3 -4 months )
working at all ships & boats from December 6 1941 in Pearl Harbour (destroyers, tankers, coal transporters.........)

@Coutumariee, I reskinned that BB to make it look a bit more compatible with some other ships I have. It might make it look a bit better with yours as well. Would you like to use them? I'll post a pic in a few too show you as well. Also, you should start a thread on your project, I am liking this alot

6:00 A.M USS ENTERPRISE launches 18 SBD scout aircraft.
Their destination is FORD ISLAND, PEARL HARBOR.
6:45 A.M Lieutenant William OUTERBRIDGE who has been in command of WARD for only two days, orders the ship to open fire.
One round hits the sub's conning tower, and it submerges.These are the first shots of the battle.
The WARD and the Sunderland drop depth charges along the assumed course of the sub.
The sub does not reappear.

I think other people will follow cause the messages Sbourget posted today prove that there are many of us who are interested by Pearl Harbor for TRAINZ.
As far as I am concerned, I am still interested in anything related to WWII for TRAINZ from the east front to the west front, axis or allies.

I'm sure Whec would be interested as well when he returns
I am trying to find a zero mesh on the net (saves me starting from scratch) I lazy lol as I have already tested my theory with Colonial Vipers and can get a whole squardren to fly as one complete with banking into the corners ........
So Express your intrest here if you would like to form a group to create a ripper map ......Maybe someone smart could create a website for the Group/Project ...........Please post your thoughts here if you are interested.......................................................
