Do you "buy" this story?

I wonder.... how can the dog be hit by a train and the owner didnt while the dog was dragging the owner? In my imagination that would mean the owner was closer to the track then the dog when the train passed.

Well, that's what I wonder too, unless the dog was pushing the body. I find it hard to believe that if the animal knew the tracks meant danger it would be that close.

I could buy that Euphod.
I have seen a few times that dogs , Alsation and Poodle in my case , that know what danger means. When people are swimming they will watch all the time, especially if there are youngsters in the pool, they will jump in and try to pull the youngsters to safety when they think they are in trouble.
I have seen a dog that jumps into water when people lie still and it would pull or try to pull them to safety near the side.I have also heard from trustworthy sources of dogs that have saved peoples lives in all kinds of circumstances - without training.
So I think it may be a true story.

Yeah, I believe it could happen as well, but find it confusing when the dog was said to be that close to the tracks, the person was not. I wonder who determined the dog actually dragged the person off the tracks, and how, or did they just find the person near the track, with bite marks on their clothing or something? Maybe the dog was just hungry, or wanted to go home, who's to say the person didn't just collapse on the side of the tracks and the dog didn't drag her at all?

Oh well, in the long run it doesn't matter, I just don't care for fantastic stories that can't be proven.
